We all desire luxury, comfort and a life without walls, worry or stress. I mean, why not? Have we not put in the hard yards, suffered discomfort, deadlines, unreasonable bosses, early mornings and late nights in order to feed the family and get ahead of the never-ending stream of window-face envelopes that amazingly seem to appear in the letterbox at the most inconvenient times?
For many, the saving grace, the self-medicated solution over the years, has been the humble caravan. Fond memories of those long weekends away with the kids, running along the beach, surfing the breaks, burning the snags on the caravan park BBQ – those were the days and the memories always linger. But the kids are now adults we're got a little older, perhaps not in the head but the body groans with protest and argues with the mind over the stream of unrealistic athletic instructions.
