Winnebago Industries, Australia’s premier motorhome manufacturer based in Sydney, has announced its new A Class Motorhome model range for 2007.

In addition to the already popular Classic model, the pinnacle of luxury and refinement found in any motorhome in Australia, a new A Class motorhome range called the Nullarbor is due for public launch early in 2007.

“Our new Nullarbor range, and we are also launching a smaller B and C Class range called the Birdsville, are named to acknowledge the great Australian Outback” said Ben Binns, Chief Operating Officer of Winnebago Industries.

“Being an all Australian family company, we have been building motorhomes in Australia since 1965 for the harsh Australian conditions and Nullarbor is designed and engineered with this in mind.”

The Nullarbor Motorhome range continues to build upon the fine tradition of luxury, refinement and technological advancement found in every Winnebago A Class Motorhome. The Nullarbor is available in three popular A Class lengths and a different layout on each.

Winnebago have competitively priced the Nullarbor range from $279990 to $331990 recommended retail price excluding on road costs and say they represent great value for money when compared feature for feature against anything else in the marketplace today.

Discerning buyers can choose a size which best suits their traveling lifestyle – the roomy 8.5 metre A2874SL model with a slide out living area and comfortably catering for four people, or perhaps the spacious 9.8 metre A3275 2SL with twin slide out rooms and accommodation for five travellers or the massive 10.5 metre A3474 2SL model also with twin slide out rooms expanding both the living area and the main bedroom.

Every home requires a strong foundation and no truer statement can be made when you consider that the Winnebago Nullarbor is a home on the move. Whether traveling over smooth motorway conditions, rough, potholed and patched country roads or the gravel and dirt offering of the great outback, the Winnebago Nullarbor has been designed to absorb the punishment on offer and will take it all in its stride.

The Nullarbor is built on the renowned Kodiak Chassis and incorporates the latest in engineering design from the ground up with “Power Truss” technology. The chassis is fitted with either a GM Duramax 6.6lt V8 Turbo Diesel engine putting out 300hp or a VORTEC 8.2lt V8 petrol engine producing 340hp. The gearbox is an Allison automatic driving through a Dana Spicer differential. The tapered leaf suspension with stabilizer bar is coupled with the I-beam wide track front axle and full floating Hypoid rear axel.

Each model layout has been designed for spacious and comfortable living, from the queen size island bed found in each layout, the large bathrooms with shower and toilet separate, the roomy and well equipped kitchen with ample bench space and quality appliances, there are features which will immediately take the eye.
